Concierge Service
How does the Concierge Service work?
We take your existing blog at Blogger.com or WordPress.com (or pretty much any other platform) and move it to your own self-hosted WordPress site. You chose the domain name, a theme, give us your login credentials, and we do the rest.
We will set-up everything for you. When we’re done we will spend an hour with you on Skype (or if you’re in San Diego, we can meet in person) showing you how to use your hosting account, how to maintain your WordPress installation, and answer any other questions you have.
On top of that– as a client of ours the relationship won’t end there. We will continue to support you through our Help Center and/or email.
Who is it for?
This service is designed for bloggers, entrepreneurs, momtrepreneurs, garage entrepreneurs, and anyone who needs to take their blog and brand to the next logical step but can’t yet afford a fully custom WordPress template.
First step – You’ve gotten started and really like what you’re doing. You’re in a groove but sometimes feel a little frustrated by some of the limitations of the free services out there. COST: FREE
Next step - You’ve hit a wall and feel like you’ve outgrown the free options. Or maybe you are wanting your content or product to be taken more seriously and you want a more professional look of your own .com? Either way, you want to put your content on the right platform moving forward so as you grow, you can easily grow your reach and/or brand. COST: $100 to do-it-yourself or $499 for us to do it for you.
The step after that - You are really doing well now. Making a little money. Maybe you’ve added a few hundred subscribers to your content, or maybe you’re small business is really taking off? Either way, you have needs which scream “Fully Custom.” COST: $2000 and up
We specialize in that Next Step. We are WordPress and small brand experts. But we’re also bloggers just like you. And we want to help you take your site to the next logical step in your progression before you spend some serious money.
What is included?
- 1 year of hosting from Hostgator (You’ll own and be responsible for the account)
- Set-up of your hosting account, installation of the latest version of WordPress on your new hosting account.
- Migrating all of your current content from Blogger.com or WordPress.com to self-hosted
- Managing your domain name. (Registering, transferring, redirecting– whatever you need.)
- We will customize the WordPress theme of your choice. (Choose from anywhere, send us a link, and tell us what you want to do.)
- 1 hour of Skype training and coaching.
- 1 year of discounted hourly rates for ala carte stuff as you grow.
- Access to us. As clients, we will continue to support and encourage you.
This is the minimum guarantee. Calling this a concierge service certainly implies that you’ll get more than that, right?
That’s our goal.
What does it cost?
A flat fee of $499.
